EQUITY DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION (EDI) CREATIVE CONTEST

We are Diverse Focus, a website dedicated to all issues related to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). If you haven’t had a chance to peruse our site, please take a look around at your convenience.
In an effort to get more folks interested in EDI issues, we are holding a contest to encourage our community to express their thoughts on EDI.
The contest is quite simple. It’s open to high school students, it runs April 1st to June 30th, 2022, and it asks entrants to answer one of the following questions in the modality of their choosing (e.g., song, poem, artwork, essay, manga, etc.):
What can you do to make your community a more inclusive place?
What are the top three issues related to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) today?
“Grow through what you go through”. Share a personal experience that shifted your perspective on EDI.
The 1st place winner receives a cash prize of $250, the 2nd place winner $150, and the 3rd place winner $100.
NOTE: Entrants must submit their entry by 11:59 p.m. June 30th, 2022 by emailing at diversefocuscalgary@gmail.com. Please include your full name and high school.
By submitting your entry, you are giving your permission to publish your work on our website and in future publications from Diverse Focus.
